Health Matters & Electricity

Health Matter

Please check locally if you need to take any vaccines before you travel to China. As in any trip abroad, we recommend you take health insurance (we do not mean to sound patronizing).

Medical facilities

There is several pharmacies near the campus of ECNU (see sketch map). University medical clinic is located not far from the conference venue. If necessary, please contact with the student helpers or the Conference Secretariat and they will give you help.

Electricity

The voltage in Shanghai is 220 volts, 50 cycles. The sockets used are two types with 2 or 3 flat pins:

Drinking water

Tap water is not for direct drinking.
